Reporting: Head Delivery & Applications

Job Description:

• Working on the core Java, J2ee architecture and participating in design & architectural decisions
• Undertake full system design , including technical requirements gathering, specifications, and coding complex modules
• Writing use cases, validating Java, J2ee architectures , produce design documents, perform code reviews, and continuously finding ways of improving design & team's productivity
• Staying abreast with emerging Java, J2EE technologies and industry best practices
• Ensuring timely project delivery by collaborating with your team and managing client expectations
• Directing team members and help them resolve issues and deliver effectively
• Adhere to SDLC process and provide suggestions to improve it

Desired Profile:

Essential Java, J2EE Technical skills

• 4 to 8 years hands on development experience in Java J2EE application development
• Object-oriented programming and multi-tiered application development experience in web based enterprise applications
• Should be very strong win UML design with expertise in OOAD

Desirable Java, J2EE Technical JSF / Struts / Spring Framework

• Hibernate / ORM tools
• Web technologies such as HTTP, JSP, XML, AJAX, JavaScript
• SOAP / XML design/development

Analytical and problem solving skills

• Good communication and documentation skills are required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, able to work independently.
• Requires minimal oversight

Other Desirable skills

• Strong project leadership and management skills
• Excellent knowledge of software engineering principles and practices
• Domain Knowledge in either Manufacturing and/or Retail
