Quality Manager (VGL Softech/QM)

The incumbent must have

Essential:

• Experience of 4-5 yrs in Software Development (Microsoft technologies, SQL Server 2000/7), Testing / Verification & Validation.
• Should have actively participated in CMM/CMMI/PCMM implementation programs in their previous organizations.

• Should have worked in SEPG/SQA function with a good CMM Level 3/4/5 IT organization.
• Should have good Understanding of CMM and/ or CMMI framework Process Definition, Facilitation and Implementation, metrics and statistical techniques.
• Should have preferably been ATMs or part of Task Forces or TWGs (Technical Working Groups) for CMM/CMMI/PCMM.

Experience in testing tools is an added advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Quality function of the organization – including testing as well as Quality Assurance.
• Lead the testing and SQA team
• Create test plans implementing standard testing methodologies
• Establishing Standards and Procedures
• Reviewing plans, standards and procedures to add value to the software project and satisfy the organizations policies and goals
• Conducting Software Process Audit and Software Configuration Audit
• Coordinating the process activities with software project vis-à-vis
  • Process Audits/Review
  • Awareness Sessions
  • Analyzing the data provided by projects
  • Continuous optimization of QMS
• Adapting a proactive approach in detecting and sharing an opportunity for improvement from project audits and reviews
• Publishing of Organization's Capability Baseline Reports, if required
• Optimization of CMM/CMMI Processes by identifying a process improvement opportunities during the implementation in the projects

Essential Technical Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/MCA/ME/MS

Candidate should have good communication skills and positive attitude.
