IT Infrastructure supervisor (VGL Softech/IT/S)
Job Description
Job location: Jaipur
Reporting To: IT Manager – India/Head
– Corporate IT Infrastructure
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Supervise IT infrastructure
(PCs, LAN/WAN, e-mail, Leased Line, Internet, VoIP,
Servers, Switches, Firewall, Routers etc) for the
software company.
- Manage and Maintain Version
Control Systems of Software Project.
- Responsible for Backup/Restore
of files, databases, application codes etc
- Supervise Firewall security.
- Provide user support.
- Manage IT Infrastructure budget,
purchases (both capital and consumables)
- Manage IT Infrastructure support
people, guide them and develop them.
- Vendor Management and negotiation
for purchases
Technical Skills & Expertise:
- Windows/Intel, Linux.
- LAN & WAN equipments such
as Switches, routers, firewalls etc.
- Messaging and Communication
technologies such as email, voice & Video conferencing.
- Backup/Restore.
- Routers and Firewall Security.
- IT Asset Management.
- Servers and Desktop trouble
shooting.
Soft skills:
- Good Communication

and experiment
- Team player
Experience:
- About 3-4 years experience
in a Data Center set up.
Education:
- B.E/B.Tech/PG diploma in IT
infrastructure with additional technical qualifications
such as CCNA, CISA/CISM, PG Diploma etc.
Human Resources:
- 2-3 members team reporting.
Others :
- Position may require occasional
travel across the globe – to Europe, US &
Asia Pacific countries.
